The central focus of the game is the Waxing Moon Ritual, a battle to obtain the Waxing Moon, a powerful artifact capable of granting any wish. Seven individuals, known as Masters, are chosen as the bearers of the Ritual and are tasked with summoning powerful Heroic Spirits, known as Servants, to fight on their behalf.
