Isle of Swaps is a roguelite deckbuilder where you swap cards with opponents, build your deck, and battle to become the Critter Champion of the Playground!

In the world of Isle of Swaps, Critters have taken the world by storm, and the newest collectible, the Critter Trading Card Game, has just been released. Dina, an avid Critter enthusiast, eagerly awaits her chance to join in on the fun. With her starter deck and binder in tow, she sets out to become the Critter Champion of the Playground.

At lunchtime, the school playground transforms into a battlefield of Critter Challenges. Dina engages in Critter Combat, where she must build up energy with weaker Skill cards and spend it to play stronger cards. Each Critter possesses unique stats, abilities, Weaknesses, and Resistances, making team diversity crucial. However, Skill cards can only be used by Critters of the same element, posing a strategic challenge.

Dina discovers the unique deckbuilding mechanic of Isle of Swaps: swapping cards with characters she defeats in battle. She can swap as many times as she likes, adding any cards she acquires to her binder. This allows her to modify her Battle Deck at any time, equipping Stickers for passive bonuses while balancing her deck between Critters, Skills, and Stickers.

As Dina progresses through Challenges, she faces a choice of three map cards. Unflipped cards reward money that can be used to purchase Booster Packs. Victories in Challenges add the cards in her battle deck to her permanent Master Binder, enabling her to customize her starting Critter in future runs. The Master Binder also allows her to create decks for the Critter Championship, putting her deckbuilding skills to the test.

Each run in Isle of Swaps consists of a unique combination of three out of six Areas. This ever-changing landscape keeps the gameplay fresh and unpredictable. Dina's ultimate goal is to collect cards, build her Master Binder, and take on the toughest fights in the Critter Championship.
