In the captivating realm of KAIKAN, a vertically scrolling shooter game, players embark on an exhilarating mission to eliminate countless enemies that relentlessly assault their path. With an arsenal of six diverse aircraft, each boasting unique performance attributes, players navigate through five challenging stages, aiming to achieve the highest possible score.

The game's mechanics revolve around the relentless destruction of enemies, unleashing a torrent of bonus items that surge toward the player's aircraft. These bonus items, when collected, elevate the item rank, amplifying their score value. However, failing to secure these items triggers a penalty, demoting the rank by one level, locking the player into a cycle of cautious acquisition.

A strategic element emerges through the interplay of bonus items and bombs. Releasing the shot button draws bonus items toward the aircraft, providing the opportunity to maximize their collection. Unleashing bombs transforms enemy bullets into valuable bomb bonus items, which boast higher scores and contribute to a counter that intensifies the final boss confrontation.

The aircraft selection in KAIKAN offers a spectrum of performance and weapon characteristics. Type A unleashes napalm that detonates upon enemy contact, while Type B disperses a wide array of shots, maximizing offensive coverage.
