Rin Akinashi, the protagonist's long-time acquaintance and classmate, is portrayed as a perfect student with good looks, exemplary behavior, and excellent grades. Despite her wealthy upbringing, Rin has an extreme attachment to money and runs a successful business with Hina. When trouble arises, Rin initially tries to distance herself but eventually stays to find a solution.

Hina Yorozuya, a classmate of the protagonist, is friendly and likable. She trusts Itsuki, the protagonist, and has faced dangerous situations together with him. While they are not in a romantic relationship, they share a strong connection. Hina is involved in Rin's business ventures and aids Itsuki and the gang.

Tatsuya Yorozuya is Hina's older brother, a student at the "Badman Academy" and the leader of DREAD. He is not picky about the methods he uses to earn money and is willing to resort to violence if necessary. With the support of the Yakuza, Tatsuya's money-making activities are far from typical for a student. He sees Itsuki as a friend, and they trust each other.

Shiori Iida is responsible for the protagonist and their friends' massive debt. She has a strong sense of self-preservation and often blames others for any inconvenient truth. Despite the incident, she continues to attend school as if nothing happened, maintaining a refined act while hiding her true nature.

Other characters in the game include Koji, a former member of DREAD who disappeared after attempting to steal Itsuki's video, and Shoji, a teacher at Badman Academy who frequently patronizes Rin and Hina's business. Shoji actively cooperates with Itsuki and Hina and has some unconventional preferences. Shinonome is an executive in the Umon-kai Yakuza syndicate and Tatsuya's direct boss. He is obedient to the syndicate boss's orders and is known for his sharp wit. Goro Teshigawara is the leader of the Umon-kai Yakuza syndicate and Kotoko's father. Despite his criminal background, he desires a normal life for his daughter.

The story of Liminal Border Part II revolves around Rin and Itsuki's business venture, which involves using a video created by Itsuki.
