The game takes place four years before the events of its predecessor, Slave Zero, breathing new life into a universe plagued by horrifying biomechanical creatures known as Slaves. These monstrous beings are poised to become the latest weapons in humanity's long and bloody history of war. In an effort to prevent their destructive power from being unleashed upon the world, a secret group of warriors called The Guardians strives to halt their production. Among their ranks is a skilled swordsman who harbors a different plan - he intends to turn the enemy's own weapon against them. By merging with a stolen Slave Unit Prototype, this fearless warrior named Shou transforms into a furious devil, hell-bent on eliminating the false God that is Khan.
