Once more, the hero is called upon in Titan Quest: Eternal Embers, a realm ravaged by demonic forces. As the ancient Emperor Yao's voice summons, the hero embarks on a journey to confront the malevolent Qiong Qi, a perilous entity that threatens the very fabric of the East. This vast adventure encompasses four enthralling acts, interwoven with a tapestry of fifteen enthralling side quests, each exclusively playable in the challenging Legendary difficulty setting.

In this epic odyssey, the hero soars to the heavens, ascending through ethereal vistas of the orient, traversing the labyrinthine depths of the Dragon King's realm. From these celestial heights, the path descends to the scorching sands and temple ruins of mighty Egypt, where the hero's destiny unfolds along an enigmatic course.

The Neidan mastery unfolds as the eleventh mastery, bestowing upon the player the mantle of a mystical alchemist. With deadly concoctions and extraordinary abilities, the Neidan master annihilates enemies, drawing upon the legendary powers of ancient Neidan masters, ultimate wielders of Chi. The player unlocks the self's hidden potential, unleashing the elements, invoking blessings from demigods, and wielding the will of ancient emperors.

A formidable bestiary of over thirty new enemies and bosses awaits, ranging from exotic beasts of Far Eastern legends to proud and vain deities eager to test the hero's mettle in combat. Players will encounter an arsenal of new weapons and gear, including masterfully crafted Oriental armors and weapons capable of felling gods. Relics and charms enhance gear, amplifying its potency.

Innovative gameplay mechanics introduce seven new types of potions, each enhancing specific stats and providing an edge in combat. Cooldown mechanisms govern their use, separate from health/mana potions and scrolls. Technical advancements elevate the gaming experience, optimizing rendering and performance, refining region loading near dungeons, and implementing gamepad support.

TQ tools receive significant enhancements, empowering players with direct object scaling in the Editor, improved object selection, replacement, and rotation tools.
