About Trucker Horror Game
Brave a hidden road as a trucker, where abandoned stations hide chilling secrets and something is always watching you. Can you escape the forest of horrors? Coming 2025!
The endless highway stretches before you, a ribbon of asphalt cutting through the dense, brooding forest. You're behind the wheel of your trusty rig, a behemoth of steel and chrome that has been your home away from home for countless miles. The rhythmic hum of the engine, the gentle sway of the cab, and the distant crackle of the radio are your constant companions. Tonight, however, the familiar comfort is tinged with an unsettling unease. You've veered off the well-trodden path, guided by a faded, almost illegible map that promised a shortcut, a way to shave precious hours off your delivery schedule. But the map lied, or perhaps it concealed a truth far more sinister than a mere detour.
The road beneath your tires has become increasingly desolate, the surrounding forest pressing in like a suffocating shroud. The once-familiar signs of civilization have vanished, replaced by a pervasive sense of isolation. The air is thick with an unnatural stillness, broken only by the rustling of unseen things in the undergrowth. An unsettling feeling creeps into your mind: that this road is not meant to be traveled, that it leads to a place best left forgotten.
As you push onward, the first signs of decay begin to emerge. Abandoned vehicles litter the roadside, their rusted frames and shattered windows testaments to a bygone era, or perhaps a more recent tragedy. Their presence is unsettling, each one a silent scream frozen in time. You can't help but wonder about the stories behind these abandoned wrecks, about the lives interrupted and the journeys that tragically ended here, on this forsaken stretch of road.
Further down the road, you encounter a dilapidated gas station, its once-vibrant paint peeling away like sunburnt skin. The pumps stand silent and rusted, their nozzles hanging limp like broken limbs. The windows of the attached convenience store are dark and grimy, obscuring the secrets that lie within. A chilling breeze whispers through the broken panes, carrying with it the scent of decay and something else, something acrid and faintly metallic.
You pull your rig to a halt, the engine shuddering and groaning in protest. Despite your growing trepidation, the lure of potential supplies, or perhaps a working radio, is too strong to ignore. Stepping out of the cab, the silence is almost deafening, amplifying the sensation that you are being watched. Every shadow seems to dance and writhe, every rustle of leaves sounds like approaching footsteps.
The gas station is a labyrinth of shadows and decaying remnants. Shelves are overturned, their contents scattered across the floor, a chaotic jumble of rusted cans, broken bottles, and tattered magazines. The air is thick with the stench of mold and decay, punctuated by the occasional whiff of something far more disturbing, something that sends a shiver crawling down your spine.
As you explore deeper into the building, you stumble upon a back room, its door hanging precariously on its hinges. The room is dimly lit by a single shaft of moonlight filtering through a crack in the boarded-up window. In the center of the room, you see a bloodstained altar, its surface covered in cryptic symbols that seem to writhe and shift before your eyes. A wave of nausea washes over you as the sickening realization dawns: this is not just a place of abandonment, it is a place of ritual, of something far more sinister.
Driven by a primal fear, you flee back to your truck, your heart pounding in your chest. You slam the door shut, turning the key in the ignition with trembling hands. The engine sputters and coughs, refusing to start. Panic grips you as you realize you are trapped, alone and vulnerable, with something lurking in the shadows, its gaze fixed upon you. The game is afoot, and the rules are unknown, the stakes are your very life.
The engine finally roars to life, and you slam the truck into gear, tearing away from the gas station, your headlights cutting through the oppressive darkness. But the feeling of being watched persists, growing stronger with each passing mile. You glance in your rearview mirror, and for a fleeting moment, you catch a glimpse of something in the shadows, a fleeting silhouette, a pair of glowing eyes.
The road ahead is treacherous, riddled with obstacles and shrouded in an unnatural fog. The terrain is unforgiving, testing the limits of your driving skill, and the fortitude of your truck. You must navigate this harrowing gauntlet, all while being pursued by an unseen entity, determined to claim you as its prey.
Your mission is clear: to escape this forest road of horrors, to find your way back to the familiar safety of the well-traveled highway. But the road ahead is long and winding, and the forces arrayed against you are formidable. You must rely on your wits, your courage, and your driving skills to survive.
You must gather resources, repair your truck, and decipher the secrets of this forsaken place. Along the way, you will encounter other abandoned locations, each one holding clues to the mystery that surrounds you. You will encounter remnants of past tragedies, whispers of forgotten rituals, and echoes of unspeakable horrors.
You must piece together the puzzle, uncover the truth behind this road, and find a way to break free from its grasp. But be warned, for the more you learn, the more you will understand the true depth of the darkness that lurks within this place. The journey will test you, push you to your limits, and force you to confront your deepest fears.
The fate of your character hangs in the balance. Every decision you make, every path you choose, will have consequences. Can you survive the terror that awaits you on this forsaken road? Can you escape the clutches of the unseen entity that hunts you? Can you unravel the mysteries that shroud this place in darkness? Or will you become just another lost soul, forever trapped on the forest road of horrors?
The forest road holds many secrets and mysteries. Some are hidden in plain sight, while others require more subtle methods to decipher. Many of the locations may be required to search to advance the story.
The soundscapes of the game are meant to instill terror in an engaging way. The soundscapes are specifically designed to be atmospheric and amplify the horror.
The fate of your character and the secrets of this road will be available on the 2025-03-18. Good luck trucker.

To experience "Trucker Horror" on PC, you'll need a system running Windows 10 (64-bit) as a minimum, although Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit) is recommended for optimal performance. The minimum processor required is an Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X, while the recommended configuration jumps to an Intel Core i7-9700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X. For graphics, aim for at least an NVIDIA GTX 1060 (6GB) or AMD Radeon RX 580 (8GB) to meet the minimum requirements, but an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 6700 XT is preferred for a smoother experience. Strangely, the memory requirements are listed as just 8MB for the minimum and 10MB for the recommended, which seems unusually low for modern gaming, so it's possible this is a typo. DirectX 12 is a must, and you'll need a DirectX-compatible sound card (ideally one with 3D audio for the recommended settings). Storage-wise, allocate 10MB minimum or 15MB recommended. Notably, VR is not supported. Finally, for the best immersion in the game's horror atmosphere, using headphones with surround sound is highly recommended.
